MindStorm Troopers Team History

MST 06 state2006 Season, Nano Quest: Our fourth season began with winning the 1st place Robot Performance and 1st place Champions awards at the Grandview regional tournament. At the State Championships for Ohio, we again won the 1st place Champions and Robot Performance awards. We scored 3 perfect 400 point robot rounds! We were able to represent Ohio at the World festival again this year, and took home 1st place Robot Performance (with three 400s again) and 3rd place Champion's! We were only the second team in FLL history to score that highly at World, and the first team to ever win 1st place robot two years in a row. Built On The Rock, an awesome team from New Jersey, was also able to score the unprecedented three 400s, so both teams were awarded 1st place in the robot. We had a blast this year meeting new teams from all around the world. There were 104 teams from 39 countries invited to World this year, out of the estimated 8000 teams that competed worldwide.
